Hanoi Ceramic Mosaic Mural Street
This Ceramic road is the first one on the list of 5 Beautiful roads in Hanoi. It is about 6.5km long which runs along the road of Âu Cơ, to Trần Khánh Dư and terminates at the pier of the Long Biên Bridge.
The project started from 2007 with the participating of both Vietnamese artists and foreigner embassies and culture centres in Hanoi. As planed, it was completed in 2010 to celebrate 1000-year-old anniversary of Hanoi. People also know about it as “World largest ceramic mosaic” confirmed by Guinness World Record.
Tips for you: You should go here during day time. It will be easier to see ceramic patterns. In case you feel tired or hungry, just cross in small lanes to try local food inside citizen area. It is awesome local food here!
Phan Dinh Phung Romantic Road
About 1.5 km long, Phan Dinh Phung Street is one of the widest street in Hanoi with ancient trees. The special thing is that there is a part of the road with two rows of trees on the same sidewalk which provide you scenic view to shoot some fabulous photos.
You not only can admire historical works such as North Gate, old French villas but also immersed in a green space and may see beautiful lady vendors who sell seasoning flowers, too!!!
Hang Ma is located inside Hanoi Old quarter. Undoubtedly, it is not difficult for you to reach and recognize this colorful street.With just nearly 400m long, it is well know as a place specialized in selling decoration products. Therefore Vietnamese people often come here on special occasions such as Lunar New year holiday, Mid- Autumn Holiday, Christmas Holiday, Halloween holiday, etc. Apart from buying decor products thematically, they can have such a beautiful background for their photos!
Phung Hung Mural Street
The Phung Hung Street mural project was implemented by Korean and Vietnamese painters in 2017.
In the street, there are 20 frescoes recreating the scenery of Hanoi capital. Images of general department store, women street vendors, tinkling trains, word toys … were drawn through arches reminiscent of Hanoi’s beautiful memories.
Thanh Nien - one of the most beautiful road in Hanoi
Thanh Nien Road is the most unique street in the capital. It is in between West Lake and Truc Bach Lake. Thanh Nien Road was originally built in the 17th century to raise fish in Truc Bach lake. Seen from above, the road is like a bridge across a large river, covered with trees on both sides of the road! Definitely, take a walk on the sidewalk to feel the cool breeze from West Lake, eat ice cream by Truc Bach lake, visit Tran Quoc pagoda, watch Sunset,and sometimes see people fishing would be very nice experience here.
